About Teltrans Credit 

In 1980, our founder, developed the concept and techniques of CREDIT REPAIR® in response to the needs of his real estate clients. Since that time the TELTRANS staff have computerized these unique Credit Services, to make the service available and affordable to large numbers of consumers across America.

    As leaders of the consumer credit services industry, we recognized the need for a non-profit Association to professionalize, educate, regulate and unify the growing numbers of credit Counselors. In 1982, we founded the National Association of Credit Counselors, and drafted its Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice for Professional Credit Counselors nationwide.

Our company’s top management have literally written the book on Credit Repair. Published in 1983, “The First Book about Credit Repair” has been accepted in public libraries coast-to-coast as a standard reference work.

TELTRANS is committed to protect the confidentiality and privacy of our clients. We have kept this commitment in test cases coast to coast. “In every field: of human endeavor, he that is first must perpetually live in the white light of publicity.” Always leading, TELTRANS inspired, drafted and fought hard for the “Credit Services Act of 1984”, landmark California legislation regulating our industry, protecting consumers, and making professional credit services finally regulated and recognized. In 1987 the Federal Government also recognized our works and trademarks in HR 458.

In January 7, 1987 the Federal Government also recognized our work and trademarks in HR 458. We’re working to nationalize this important regulatory approach for the protection of all consumers.

TELTRANS has developed the concept of “Positive Collections” which emphasizes education, pride, timely satisfaction of just debts, restoral of credit privilege, trust and self-esteem to consumers.
